The sound recording module consists of a small pcb (56 x 46mm) with a microchip, on-board battery power supply and microphone with wires to a low-profile 1½" dia. moving-coil speaker. The module can record up to 10 secs of speech or sound and plays it back when turned on. The message is retained even when the power is removed and can be played back an unlimited number of times and different messages can be recorded up to 500 times.
Use the heart as originally intended with that special greeting and when your loved one has tired of hearing your dulcet tones you could use the recording module to build an audible warning annunciator or even a personalised bell-push.
